Kia ora I'm Sarah and I have created a sustainable upcycled secondhand sewing business.
Reducing waste and being sustainable is very important to me so I started shadow of the sun to join my passion of thrifting and sewing together. This is where the idea of using secondhand farbics, zips and threads to make sewn goods started.

Growing up I had a best friend anyone could dream of. She was small but mighty, cute and cuddly as well as being my feline (cat) buddy.
A friend to chat, a friend to pat.
A friend to love, a friend to hold.
A friend to remember for all to be told.
I Cherish the memories close to my heart.
We are together forever even though we are miles apart.
So when the sun comes up it casts a shadow. Having your back wherever you tracked.
There all along was where she belonged, right by my side.
